Disability Services supports students who may need accommodations on a temporary basis.Ìý
Temporary accommodations are typically approved for one semester and are usually implemented to serve students with short-term physical or psychological impairments.
Concussion
For students who have experienced a concussion, symptoms can vary in duration and intensity. Students may qualify for temporary academic and housing accommodations. Faculty/Staff can use the for reference or referral.Ìý
- Students should have documentation from their current treating providerÌý
- Students should contact DS to discuss academic accommodations or academic flexibility, if needed.ÌýÌý
- If the concussion is severe, students may want to consider a reduced course load or dropping a course
Physical InjuriesÌý
For students who have sustained a physical injury, students may qualify for temporary housing or academic accommodations.
